Warren Township High School
Warren Township High School (WTHS), or Warren, is a public four-year high school located in Gurnee, a northern suburb of Chicago, in Lake County, in Illinois. Because of size of the student body, the school is split across two campuses: the O'Plaine Road Campus for freshmen and sophomores, and the Almond Road Campus for juniors and seniors. It is part of Warren Township High School District 121. History Since its formation in 1917, Warren Township High School District 121 has grown and evolved with its residents. From a one-story building on O'Plaine Road to two campuses located about 4.5 miles apart, Warren has seen graduating initial classes of about 25 students in the beginning to more than 1000 today. Gurnee, Illinois
Gurnee ( ) is a village in Lake County, Illinois, United States. Its population was 30,706 as of the 2020 census. It borders the city of Waukegan, and is a popular tourist attraction within the Chicago metropolitan area. Best known for being the location of Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Chicago and Gurnee Mills, the village sees an average of over 23 million visitors annually. Kevin Anderson (born January 13, 1960) is an American stage and film actor. He is also a singer and drummer. Early life Anderson was born on January 13, 1960, in Gurnee, Illinois, the son of Joseph Anderson. He is one of five children. He studied acting in the Goodman School of Drama at DePaul University in Chicago, for three years. Derek Shelton
Derek Lee Shelton (born July 30, 1970) is an American professional baseball coach and former catcher. He is the current manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB). Shelton has spent the last 15 years as a coach in some capacity at the Major League level. Shelton was the hitting coach for the Cleveland Indians from 2005 until 2009, and the Tampa Bay Rays from 2010 until 2016. Water Polo
Water polo is a competitive team sport played in water between two teams of seven players each. The game consists of four quarters in which the teams attempt to score goals by throwing the ball into the opposing team's goal. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins the match. Scholastic wrestling, also known in the United States as folkstyle wrestling, is a style of amateur wrestling practiced at the high school and middle school levels in the United States. This wrestling style is essentially collegiate wrestling with some slight rule modifications. According to an athletics participation survey taken by the National Federation of State High School Associations, boys' wrestling ranked eighth in terms of the number of schools sponsoring teams, with 9,445 schools participating in the 2006–07 school year.
