Warren A. Grady
Warren Albert Grady (March 3, 1924December 14, 2019) was an American lawyer, judge, and Republican politician from Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. He represented Ozaukee County for eight years in the Wisconsin State Assembly and later served 16 years as a Wisconsin circuit court judge. Biography Grady was born on March 3, 1924, in Port Washington, Wisconsin. He graduated from Port Washington High School in 1942. Grady also graduated from Northwestern University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Grady served in the United States Navy during World War II. He died on December 14, 2019, in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Career Grady was first elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1952. He served as Majority Leader for the 1957 session. He was a Republican. Wisconsin Circuit Courts
The Wisconsin circuit courts are the general trial courts in the state of Wisconsin. There are currently 69 circuits in the state, divided into 10 judicial administrative districts. Circuit court judges hear and decide both civil and criminal cases. Each of the 249 circuit court judges are elected and serve six-year terms. On March 6, 2020, Governor Tony Evers signed bipartisan legislation to create 12 new circuit court branches, with four seats to be added each year from 2021 to 2023. Structure of the circuit courts The circuit court system is composed of 69 circuits, with 66 circuits serving a single county, and three circuits serving two counties each. Ozaukee County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 91,503. Its county seat is Port Washington, making it one of three Wisconsin counties on Lake Michigan not to have a county seat with the same name. Ozaukee County is included in the Milwaukee– Waukesha–West Allis, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2000 Census, Ozaukee County had the second-lowest poverty rate of any county in the United States, at 2.6%. In terms of per capita income, it is the 25th-wealthiest county in the country.
