Warpath (comics)
James Proudstar, known first as Thunderbird and then as Warpath, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most often those about the fictional superhero team X-Men. Proudstar first appears as the second Thunderbird in ''New Mutants'' #16 ( June 1984). Blaming the X-Men for the death of his brother Thunderbird, Proudstar joins the Hellions squad, a group of young mutants led by Emma Frost. He later becomes a longtime member of the militant X-Men offshoot X-Force. Proudstar is an Apache and one of the few Native American superheroes in Marvel Comics. His powers are superhuman strength, speed, and flight. Warpath appeared in the 2014 film, '' X-Men: Days of Future Past'', portrayed by Booboo Stewart. Warpath (video Game)
''Warpath'' is a first-person shooter video game developed by Digital Extremes. The game was originally being developed as a sequel to '' Pariah'', but since ''Pariah'' was a commercial flop, ''Warpath'' continued development as a whole new game. However, the similarities between the gameplay of both games are very apparent. Technology The game utilizes Unreal Engine 2 with optimizations and additions of the 2.5 Build (the same used for '' Unreal Championship 2'' and '' Pariah'') and the Havok physics engine. Demo A demo for the PC version of ''Warpath'' was released on March 1, 2006. The demo included two maps: Breach for Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, and Rush for Capture The Flag. The Front Line Assault mode was not included. This demo is available on the disc included with April 2006 issue of ''PC Gamer''. Great Indian Warpath
The Great Indian Warpath (GIW)—also known as the Great Indian War and Trading Path, or the Seneca Trail—was that part of the network of trails in eastern North America developed and used by Native Americans which ran through the Great Appalachian Valley. The system of footpaths (the Warpath branched off in several places onto alternate routes and over time shifted westward in some regions) extended from what is now upper New York to deep within Alabama. Various Indians traded and made war along the trails, including the Catawba, numerous Algonquian tribes, the Cherokee, and the Iroquois Confederacy. The British traders' name for the route was derived from combining its name among the northeastern Algonquian tribes, ''Mishimayagat'' or "Great Trail", with that of the Shawnee and Delaware, ''Athawominee'' or "Path where they go armed". Mantic Games
Mantic Games is a British miniatures and board game publisher, based in Bulwell, Nottingham, UK. History Mantic Games was started in 2008 by former Games Workshop Managing Director, Ronnie Renton with a range of high-fantasy miniatures that were compatible with other popular wargames, including Warhammer Fantasy Battles. ''Warpath'' is a 1951 American Western film directed by Byron Haskin and starring Edmond O'Brien, Polly Bergen and Dean Jagger. The film was released as a Fawcett Comics Film #9 in August 1951. Plot John Vickers has spent eight years hunting for the three men who murdered the woman he loved. He finds one, Woodson, and kills him in a gunfight, but not before learning that the other two men have joined the U.S. Cavalry.
