Wang Huei-Mei
Wang Huei-mei (; born 22 November 1968) is a Taiwanese politician. She is the incumbent Magistrate of Changhua County since 25 December 2018. Education Wang obtained her bachelor's and master's degree in political science from Tunghai University. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in finance from National Changhua University of Education. Early careers Wang used to be a teacher for junior high schools and vocational high school, as well as a community college principal. She is also an adjunct lecturer at Chienkuo Technology University and Dayeh University. Lukang, Changhua
Lukang, formerly romanized as Lugang and also known by #Name, other names, is an township (Taiwan), urban township in northwestern Changhua County, Taiwan. The township is on the west coast of Taiwan, facing the Taiwan Strait. Lukang was an important sea port in the 18th century and 19th century. It was the most populous city in central Taiwan until the early 20th century. In March 2012, it was named one of the ''Top 10 Small Tourist Towns'' by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan. Name The township's name, which means "Deer Port", came from its deerskin trade during the Dutch Formosa, Dutch period. Its old Taiwanese Hokkien, Taiwanese name was Lok-a-kang () and its shortened version is seen in English texts and maps as variants such as Lok-kang, Lokang and Lo-kiang. Changhua (Hokkien POJ: ''Chiong-hòa'' or ''Chiang-hòa''), officially known as Changhua City, is a county-administered city and the county seat of Changhua County in Taiwan Province of the Republic of China. For many centuries the site was home to a settlement of Babuza people, a coastal tribe of Taiwanese aborigines. Changhua city is ranked first by population among county-administered cities. It is part of the Taichung–Changhua metropolitan area, which is the second largest in Taiwan. Lisa Huang
Lisa Huang (; born 11 August 1969) is a Taiwanese lawyer and politician. She has served on the Legislative Yuan between 2012 and 2014. Early life and career Lisa Huang is the daughter of politician George Huang. Her brother David is a political scientist. She graduated from Soochow University and later earned a master's degree from National Chiao Tung University. Prior to her career in politics, Huang worked as a lawyer based in Changhua. Political career Electoral history Huang first ran for the legislature as an independent candidate in Changhua County during the 2004 elections, but did not win.
