Walther CCP
The Walther CCP (''Concealed Carry Pistol'') is a delayed blowback semi-automatic pistol developed by Carl Walther Sportwaffen for the concealed carry civilian market. Product evolution The Walther CCP was introduced in March 2014. It is available chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum. In September 2018 Walther introduced the updated CCP M2 onto the market. Its most significant upgrade was a take-down lever that eased the field stripping, which was often cited as original M1 design's biggest shortcoming. Circa January 2019, Walther introduced the CCP M2 380, a variant with .380 ACP a caliber option. The CCP M2 380 became available to markets in January 2020. Semi-automatic Pistol
A semi-automatic pistol is a type of repeating single-chamber handgun ( pistol) that automatically cycles its action to insert the subsequent cartridge into the chamber (self-loading), but requires manual actuation of the trigger to actually discharge the following shot. As a result, only one round of ammunition is fired each time the trigger is pulled, as the pistol's fire control group disconnects the trigger mechanism from the firing pin/ striker until the trigger has been released and reset. Additional terms sometimes used as synonyms for a semi-automatic pistol are self-loading pistol, autopistol, autoloading pistol, and automatic pistol (E.G.: Automatic Colt Pistol). The Walther P99 () is a semi-automatic pistol developed by the German company Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen of Ulm for law enforcement, security forces and the civilian shooting market as a replacement for the Walther P5 and the P88. The P99 and its variants are also made under licence by Fabryka Broni Radom. History Design work on this new generation sidearm began in 1994, and the handgun was presented in 1997 with series production commencing that same year. The Steyr GB is a double-action 9×19mm Parabellum caliber, large-framed semi-automatic pistol employing a gas-delayed blowback action. As such the GB abbreviation stand for ''Gasbremse'' (gas brake). It was designed in 1968, intended as a replacement for older handguns in Austrian military service. The weapon went into general civilian production in 1982, and in 1988 production ceased. The Walther PPQ (, ''Polizeipistole Quick Defence'' / Police Pistol Quick Defence) is a semi-automatic pistol developed by the German company Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen of Ulm for law enforcement, security forces and the civilian shooting market as a development of the Walther P99.
