Walter Kielholz
Walter Bruno Kielholz (born 25 February 1951 in Zurich) was chairman of the Board of Directors and former CEO of Swiss Re. Kielholz completed a degree in business administration at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, in 1976. From 1997 to 2002 he was CEO of Swiss Re. He was Swiss Re's Chairman from 2009 to 2021. He has been Honorary Chairman of Swiss Re since April 2021. Biography Kielholz studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen, and graduated in 1976 with a degree in business finance and accounting. He began his career at the General Reinsurance Corporation, Zurich in 1976. After working in the US, UK and Italy, he assumed responsibility for the company's European marketing. Kunsthaus Zürich
The Kunsthaus Zürich is in terms of area the biggest art museum of Switzerland and houses one of the most important art collections in Switzerland, assembled over the years by the local art association called '. The collection spans from the Medieval art, Middle Ages to contemporary art, with an emphasis on Swiss art. Architecture The old museum part was drawn-up by architects Karl Moser and Robert Curjel and opened in 1910. Quaianalagen (German, plural; en, quays, or quaysides; from french: des quais) or Seeuferanlagen (German, plural for lakeshore sites) on Lake Zürich (german: Zürichsee) is a series of lakefronts in Zürich. 30 St Mary Axe
30 St Mary Axe (previously known as the Swiss Re Building and informally known as the Gherkin) is a commercial skyscraper in London's primary financial district, the City of London. It was completed in December 2003 and opened in April 2004. With 41 floors, it is tall and stands on the sites of the former Baltic Exchange and Chamber of Shipping, which were extensively damaged in 1992 in the Baltic Exchange bombing by a device placed by the Provisional IRA in St Mary Axe, a narrow street leading north from Leadenhall Street.
