Walter J. Kavanaugh (June 30, 1933 – January 9, 2008) was an American Republican Party politician, who served in the New Jersey Legislature for 32 years, representing the 16th Legislative District. New Jersey's 16th Legislative District is one of 40 in the New Jersey Legislature. As of the 2011 apportionment, the district includes the Hunterdon County municipalities of Delaware Township, Flemington Borough, Raritan Township, Readington Township and Stockton Borough; the consolidated Mercer County municipality of Princeton; the Middlesex County municipality of South Brunswick Township; and the Somerset County municipalities of Branchburg Township, Hillsborough Township, Manville Borough, Millstone Borough, Montgomery Township, Rocky Hill Borough and Somerville Borough. Jon Stevens Corzine ( ; born January 1, 1947) is an American financial executive and retired politician who served as a United States Senator from New Jersey from 2001 to 2006 and the 54th governor of New Jersey from 2006 to 2010.
