Jake Walman
Jake Walman (born February 20, 1996) is a Canadian-American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the St. Louis Blues, 82nd overall, in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Early life Walman was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and is Jewish. He holds American citizenship, through his mother Mary-Anne, a native of Providence, Rhode Island. Playing career Walman played junior hockey with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) before committing to collegiate hockey with Providence College of the Hockey East. Prior to his freshman season with the Friars, Walman was selected at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft in the third round, 82nd overall, by the St. Louis Blues. Jerome Walman
Jerome Walman is an American composer and certified instructor of the Schillinger System of Musical Composition. He studied at Boston University, Juilliard School of Music, Berklee School of Music, and at New York University (where he studied under Rudolph Schramm). Walman is one of the last certified of instructors of the Schillinger System. He was actively involved with Lehman Engel's BMI Musical Theater Workshop, where many of his works were performed in concert. Walman has been produced on and off Broadway and in regional theatre. Two of his compositions, a string quartet and a wind quintet, have been performed at Carnegie Hall. He developed the Walman Method, which includes musical composition, lyrics and book writing for theater, musical and cinema. Aleksander Walmann
Aleksander Walmann Åsgården (born 12 January 1986) is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. He represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 alongside Jowst with the song "Grab the Moment", finishing in 10th place. Early life and career Walmann was born in Porsgrunn, and grew up in a musical family through childhood. From the age of 13 and until he started playing music, Aleksander was an active snowboarder at an international level. In 2012, he participated in season one of ''The Voice – Norges beste stemme'', Norway's version of ''The Voice'', where he had Sondre Lerche as his mentor. He went on a shared second place together with Hege Øversveen and Leif Anders Wentzel in the competitions finale, only beaten by winner Martin Halla.
