Wallu Valpio
Jani Petteri "Wallu" Valpio (born 7 September 1973 in Jyväskylä) is a Finnish media personality. Valpio began his career as a member of the musical group ''Arto Muna ja Millennium Orkesteri''. He then hosted the ''Never Trust a Hippie'' programme on the free cable-channel MoonTV and later other music-themed programmes, such as annual ''Festival Specials'' and ''Videoraati'' (the channel's take on '' Levyraati''). Harri Sakari Vaalio (born 1956 in Järvelä, Kärkölä, Finland), also known by his artist name Wallu, is a Finnish cartoonist. He is known for his strip '' Punaniska'' (Finnish for "redneck") comic albums and his strips in Finnish magazines such as the ''Mikrokivikausi'' (Finnish for "Micro Stone Age") strip in the computer magazine '' MikroBitti''. Jyväskylä () is a city and municipality in Finland in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. It is located about 150 km north-east from Tampere, the third largest city in Finland; and about 270 km north from Helsinki, the capital of Finland. MoonTV
MoonTV was a free Finnish cable network channel. It started off as a channel for programmes about computer and video games but later grew into a channel covering several areas of youth culture. In its prime it was the first interactive TV channel in the world. At its best MoonTV could reach 1.3 million potential viewers in the 12 biggest cities across Finland. In 2003 the channel was shut down after the company that owned it filed for bankruptcy. MoonTV was relaunched in 2010 online with new hosts and a new program line-up. People Mika Koivula and Hannu and Pekka Kossila were the founding members of MoonTV. Koivula came up with the name "MoonTV" back in 1996. Pekka Kossila was in charge of creating economical interactive TV formats which were the core of the channel when it started its test broadcasts in November 1996. Levyraati
''Levyraati'' ("Record Panel") was a Finnish television show which ran from the 1961–1992 originally on YLE and starting from 1992 on MTV3. It was based on the British ''Juke Box Jury''. The show was originally hosted by Jaakko Jahnukainen and for a brief period by Vesa Nuotio (in 1980). However, the show was most famously hosted by Jukka Virtanen from 1980 till 1997 when the show went on a five-year hiatus. For its 2002–2003 run it was hosted by Raakel Lignell and later by Ruben Stiller. The show has been on unspecified hiatus since 2005. In the program Finnish celebrities (mostly musicians) would rate recordings and, in later years, music videos with a score from 1 to 10. With four guests in the panel the maximum score was 40 and the winning song or video would be performed during the ending credits.
