Wall Centre is a development in Vancouver, British Columbia consisting of three towers which contain the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel, as well as condominiums. It is owned by Wall Financial Corporation and was largely the vision of Peter Wall. The complex covers an entire city block, and has a large public garden. One Wall Centre
One Wall Centre, also known as the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre North Tower, is a 48-storey, skyscraper hotel with residential condominiums in the Wall Centre (Vancouver), Wall Centre development at 1088 Burrard Street in Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The tower was designed by Perkins+Will Canada, and completed in 2001, and went on to win the Emporis Skyscraper Award for the Best New Skyscraper the same year. As of March 2018 it is the fourth-tallest building in the city. The first 27 floors of the building are the 4 Diamond Sheraton Hotel. Floors 28, 29, and 30 are the Intrawest, Club Intrawest Resort floors; which are operated independent of Sheraton. Floors 31 to 48 are residential condominiums. Bruno Freschi
Bruno Freschi (born 1937) is a Canadian architect and an officer in the Order of Canada, known for his role as chief architect for Expo 86 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Some of his notable works include Science World in Vancouver, the Ismaili Centre in Burnaby, and the Staples Residence in Vancouver. Biography Freschi was born in Trail, British Columbia, on April 18, 1937. He studied architecture at the University of British Columbia where he received Canada's top architecture student award . He then studied in London at the Architectural Association before returning to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to work with Arthur Erickson in the 1960s. He founded his own firm, Bruno Freschi Architects, in 1970 in Vancouver. He was dean of the school of architecture and planning at the State University of New York at Buffalo, NY, USA until 2002.
