Sir Cliff Richard (born Harry Rodger Webb; 14 October 1940) is an Indian-born British musican, singer, producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist who holds both British and Barbadian citizenship. ''Small Corners'' is a 1978 album of Contemporary Christian music by British singer Cliff Richard. It is his twentieth studio album and third gospel album. It was recorded in Abbey Road Studios in January 1977. "Yes He Lives" was released in the UK as the lead single from the album, but did not chart. In France, "Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music" was released as a single in April 1978, however it did not chart either. A significant portion of the album consists of songs by American writers, including Larry Norman, Annie Herring, Kris Kristofferson and Randy Stonehill. Critical response AllMusic found that due to its "spontaneous air" it was more fun and less "pious" than his other religious recordings. On its reissue, Mojo magazine gave it 3/5. London Philharmonic Orchestra
The London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) is one of five permanent symphony orchestras based in London. It was founded by the conductors Sir Thomas Beecham and Malcolm Sargent in 1932 as a rival to the existing London Symphony and BBC Symphony Orchestras. The founders' ambition was to build an orchestra the equal of any European or American rival. Between 1932 and the Second World War the LPO was widely judged to have succeeded in this regard. Christopher Neville Eaton (born 16 September 1958) is a British Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter, who has written songs for singers including Cliff Richard, Amy Grant and Jaci Velasquez. Career Born in Sedgley, Staffordshire, Eaton was a member of the 1980s bands Lyrix and the Mark Williamson Band prior to his solo career. He has toured the US to promote his albums, and also toured Europe as opening act for Art Garfunkel in 1998. He worked on Roger Daltrey's 1987 solo album '' Can't Wait to See the Movie'', singing backing vocals. Garth Hewitt (born December 1946) is an English Christian singer‑songwriter and Anglican priest, active since the early 1970s to the present. ''Thank You Very Much'' is an album of the March 1978 reunion concerts at the London Palladium by English singer Cliff Richard and the group that backed him in the 1950s and 1960s The Shadows. It was released in February 1979 on the EMI label and reached No. 5 in the UK Albums Chart. Every Face Tells A Story (song)
The song was originally written by Michael Allison and Peter Sills for British singer Cliff Richard, whom Olivia Newton-John was a backing singer for in the early 1970s. Richard originally attempted a recording of the song in December 1975 studio sessions for his 1976 studio album ''I'm Nearly Famous'', but it remained unreleased. He recorded the song again for his 1977 studio album ''Every Face Tells a Story'', for which it became the title track. Richard's version uses the same music, but the lyrics are about Jesus and are Gospel-themed. Although a pop star, Richard is a Christian and sometimes includes Gospel tracks on his albums. Don Black rewrote the lyrics but kept the title, removing the Gospel theme.
