Walker Kessler
Walker Ross Kessler (born July 26, 2001) is an American professional basketball player for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball, North Carolina Tar Heels and Auburn Tigers men's basketball, Auburn Tigers. High school career Kessler played basketball for Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia. In his senior season, he averaged 17.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.2 blocks per game, leading his team to its first Class 4A state title. Kessler was named ''The Atlanta Journal-Constitution'' Player of the Year, Mr. Georgia Basketball and Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year awards, Gatorade Player of the Year. The Auburn Tigers men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Auburn University. The school competes in the Southeastern Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). 2020 McDonald's All-American Boys Game
The 2020 McDonald's All-American Boys Game was an all-star basketball game that was scheduled to be played on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, home of the Houston Rockets. The game's rosters featured the best and most highly recruited high school boys graduating in the class of 2020. The game would have been the 43rd annual version of the McDonald's All-American Game first played in 1977. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the game was cancelled. The Vanderbilt Commodores men's basketball team represents Vanderbilt University in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Gatorade Player of the Year awards are given annually to up and coming high school student-athletes in the United States. They are given for boys' baseball, boys' and girls' basketball, boys' and girls' cross country, boys' football, boys' and girls' soccer, boys' and girls' track & field, girls' softball, and girls' volleyball.
