Waldorf Warriors Football
The Waldorf Warriors football team represents Waldorf University in college football, as part of the North Star Athletic Association. History Waldorf's football team played their first NAIA Division II game in 2003. Their former head football coaches include David Bolstorff, Gregg Youngblood, and Kent Anderson. Coaches David Bolstorff (2003–2006) David Bolstorff was the first head football coach for the Waldorf Warriors. He was the head coach from 1965-2006. During his time at Waldorf College his record was 189-184-2. Forest City, Iowa
Forest City is a city in Hancock and Winnebago counties in the U.S. state of Iowa, and the county seat of Winnebago County. The population was 4,285 in the 2020 census, a decline from the 4,362 population in 2000. History Forest City was officially founded in 1855. Formerly known as “Puckerbrush”, Robert Clark the official founder/surveyor deemed it “Forest City” because it was cut right out of the trees. It was then platted in 1856, and later incorporated on June 14, 1878. The population started to grow when immigrants from Sweden and Norway settled in the Forest City because of the similar topography. Its growth continued when city leaders convinced Minneapolis and St. Louis Railroad to come to Forest City. The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) that began play in the 2013–14 school year. The conference currently has eight full member institutions in Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Waldorf University
Waldorf University is a private for-profit university in Forest City, Iowa. It was founded in 1903 and associated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and its predecessors. In 2010, it was sold to Columbia Southern University and became a for-profit institution; 12 years later, ownership was transferred to the Waldorf Lutheran College Foundation. Iowa Wesleyan University is a private university in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. It is Iowa's first co-educational institution of higher learning and the oldest of its type west of the Mississippi River. Del Rio High School
San Felipe-Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District (SFDR-CISD) is a school district based in Del Rio, Texas (USA). The school district serves all of the city of Del Rio and some unincorporated portions of Val Verde County, including Cienegas Terrace, Lake View, and Val Verde Park, as well as Laughlin Air Force Base. Dependent children who are residents of the base are zoned to SFDR-CISD schools. Benedictine College is a private Benedictine liberal arts college in Atchison, Kansas, United States. It was established in 1971 by the merger of St. Benedict's College (founded 1858) for men and Mount St. Scholastica College (founded 1923) for women.
