Kody Wakasa
Kody Wakasa (born May 6, 1994) is an American former soccer player who previously played as a defender for FC Tucson in USL League One. Career College Wakasa played five years of college soccer at California Polytechnic State University between 2012 and 2016. While at Cal Poly, Wakasa scored the game-winning overtime header against UC Santa Barbara in front of a crowd that was the 12th largest attendance in NCAA men's soccer regular-season history. He also was with USL PDL side Ventura County Fusion during his time at Cal Poly, but never appeared for the club. Professional Wakasa signed with United Soccer League club Phoenix Rising on March 24, 2017. After playing two years at Phoenix Rising, he then joined FC Tucson in USL League One in 2019. Masaru Wakasa
is a Japanese lawyer, politician and former member of the House of Representatives in Japan. Political career Wakasa started his career as a prosecutor for the Special Investigation Department of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office, and wrote a book on lie detection based on his experiences in this role. He was listed as a proportional representation candidate for the Liberal Democratic Party in the 2014 general election, and won a seat despite being near the bottom of the list. In 2017, he left the Liberal Democratic Party to form a new political group called "Nippon First", which is affiliated with the Tomin First no Kai. Tokuji Wakasa
was a Japanese businessman, the former head of All Nippon Airways. He became President of the company in 1970, one year after becoming vice-president. In 1976, he was imprisoned as a result of a bribery scandal. After serving time, he regained some honorary status with the company, but withdrew over a dispute with the new president, Seiji Fukatsu.
