Sajid–Wajid was an Indian Bollywood Hindi film music director duo consisting of brothers Sajid Khan and Wajid Khan, the sons of Sharafat Ali Khan, a tabla player. Wajid Khan, the younger of the two brothers, died on June 1, 2020. Since then, Sajid Khan has continued as a solo music director. Members Sajid Khan Sajid Ali Khan (date of birth unknown), also known by the mononym Sajid, is the elder son oftabla player Ustad Sharafat Ali Khan and his wife, Razina Khan. Wajid, Somalia
Wajid () is a town in the southern Bakool region of Somalia. It is the center of the Wajid District. Overview Wajid is located approximately northwest of the national capital Mogadishu, southwest of Hudur, and southeast of the Somalia-Ethiopia border. In March 2014, Somali Armed Forces assisted by an Ethiopian battalion with AMISOM captured the district from Al-Shabaab. ''Wajik'' or ''wajid'', also known as ''pulut manis'', is a traditional glutinous sweet made with rice, sugar and coconut milk. It is an Indonesian '' kue'', and a '' kuih'' of Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia (especially in the state of Sabah). Definition The official Indonesian dictionary describes wajik as a confectionery made from a mixture of sticky rice, sugar, and coconut milk and cut into diamond shapes (rhombus or parallelogram). Ingredients and shapes The main ingredients of wajik are glutinous rice, palm sugar, and coconut milk. The high content of sugar serves as a natural preservative since sugar inhibits the growth of microbes. A correctly produced and packaged wajik could last for up to two weeks.
