Waiting For You (F4 Album)
''Waiting For You'' () is the third and final Mandarin studio album of Taiwanese Mandopop quartet boy band F4. Two versions of the album were released on 28 December 2007 by Sony Music Taiwan: ''Waiting For You (Await Your Love Edition)'' (在這裡等你 等待摯愛版) and ''Waiting For You (Feel Your Heart Edition)'' (在這裡等你 體驗真心版). A collectable edition was released on 5 February 2008, ''Waiting For You (Special Collectable Edition)'' (在這裡等你 新春慶功版) with a 16-page photo booklet and bonus DVD with footage from F4's New Songs World Premiere Showcase (F4全球新歌發表會) at Tamshui Fisherman's Wharf, Taipei, Taiwan on 19 January 2008. F4 (band)
F4 (Flower Four) or JVKV was a Taiwanese boy band consisting of Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu, and Vic Chou. The group F4 was formed in 2001 after the Taiwanese drama '' Meteor Garden'' that they starred in was widely successful. Together they have starred in several Taiwanese drama series and released three albums, ''Meteor Rain'' (2001), '' Fantasy 4ever'' (2002), and '' Waiting for You'' (2007). According to ''Forbes'', F4 has sold 3.5 million copies of their first two albums all over Asia as of July 2003. In 2007, due to copyright issues, the group changed its name to JVKV, using the descending age of the initials of its members. Mandopop
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Standard Chinese, Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the School campus song, Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Though Mandopop predates Cantopop, the English term was coined around 1980 after "Cantopop" became a popular term for describing popular songs in Cantonese. ''Fantasy 4ever'' () is the second Mandarin studio album of Taiwanese Mandopop quartet boy band F4. It was released on 18 December 2002 by Sony Music Taiwan. It includes a VCD which contains two music videos. The album is organized in the style of a split album with two tracks by Vic, one track each by the other remaining members, a duet by Vanness and Ken and six tracks collectively as F4. It features "絕不能失去你" (Can't Lose You) for the opening theme and "煙火的季節" (Season of Fireworks) for the ending theme of the 2002 Taiwanese drama series ''Meteor Garden II'' respectively; and the Pepsi advertisement theme song "Ask For More" and a Mandarin version of Walt Disney's ''Lilo & Stitch'' theme song, "Can't Help Falling in Love". Taiwanese People
Taiwanese people may be generally considered the people of Taiwan who share a common culture, ancestry and speak Taiwanese Mandarin, Hokkien, Hakka or indigenous Taiwanese languages as a mother tongue. The Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf (), officially the Tamsui Second Fishing Harbor (), is a major fishing harbor and a scenic spot on the right bank of the Tamsui River estuary, at the western tip of Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. Jerry Yan (), born Liao Yangzhen (), is a Taiwanese actor, model and singer. Vanness Wu
Vanness Wu (; born August 7, 1978) is a Taiwanese-American singer and actor. He is a member of the Taiwanese boyband F4 and the Korean Mandopop duo Kangta & Vanness. Early life Wu was born in Santa Monica, California. He learned to breakdance as a teenager and competed in numerous dance competitions throughout the 90s. Vic Chou () is a Taiwanese actor and singer. He is a member of the Taiwanese boy band F4.
