Waisea Luveniyali
Waisea Sedre Luveniyali (born Suva, 23 July 1985) is a Fijian rugby union footballer. He hails from the village of Kasavu in the province of Naitasiri Province, Naitasiri, and his mother is from the village of Qarani, Gau in the Lomaiviti (Fijian Communal Constituency, Fiji), Lomaiviti group. Career He plays as a Fly-half (rugby union), fly-half, formerly for Fiji Warriors. Luveniyali was a late call up to the Fijian team in 2007 after playing for Fiji in the Under 21 World Cup. The young fly half was put right into the starting lineup to debut against Australia A national rugby union team, Australia A, where they drew the game 14 – 14. After this performance, he was selected for the Fiji national rugby union team, Fiji for the 2007 Rugby World Cup finals. He played against Australia national rugby union team, Australia (12–55). Suva
Suva () is the capital and largest city of Fiji. It is the home of the country's largest metropolitan area and serves as its major port. 2009 IRB Pacific Nations Cup
The 2009 Pacific Nations Cup is a rugby union tournament held between five national sides on the Pacific Rim: Fiji, Japan, Samoa, Tonga and the Junior All Blacks. The New Zealand Māori team that won the tournament last year will no longer take part in this competition because of a decision taken by the New Zealand Rugby Union. Australia A has also decided to pull out due to a similar decision. The inaugural competition was held in 2006. This year the tournament will begin on June 12 and ends on July 3, 2009 and most of the matches will be hosted by Fiji.
