Waikato Rugby League is the local sporting body responsible for the administration of rugby league in the Waikato region of New Zealand. The WRL are represented by the Waikato rugby league team. They are currently part of the Upper Central Zone along with Coastline Rugby League and Bay of Plenty Rugby League. Brad Clark
Brad Clark (born 1960) is a Canadian politician in Ontario, Canada. He was the councillor in Ward nine in Hamilton, Ontario from December 2006 to December 2014. He was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1999 to 2003, and was a cabinet minister in the governments of Mike Harris and Ernie Eves. In the 2018 municipal elections he again won councillor in Ward nine in Hamilton Ontario defeating Doug Conley. Background Clark was educated at Mohawk College in Hamilton, receiving a diploma in radio broadcasting. He owned and operated a small business after his graduation, and also served as executive director of the Songwriters Association of Canada. Tainui Raihe
Tainui is a tribal waka confederation of New Zealand Māori iwi. The Tainui confederation comprises four principal related Māori iwi of the central North Island of New Zealand: Hauraki, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Raukawa and Waikato. Jesse Te Ahukaramu Royal (born 22 March 1980) is a professional rugby league footballer from New Zealand who currently plays for the Kurri Kurri Bulldogs in the Newcastle Rugby League. Herewini Rangi is a New Zealand rugby league coach and former player who played one match in the NRL. He played as a or , who could also kick goals. Early years Rangi grew up in Huntly and played for the Taniwharau Rugby League Club. In 2001 he played for the Waikato Under-17s and also made the National U-17 team. He made the Junior Kiwis in 2002, playing both games. Playing career Rangi joined the New Zealand Warriors 25-man squad for 2004, moving to Auckland. Kurt Kara (born 26 June 1989) is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Newtown Jets in the New South Wales Cup, as a or . Early years Kara was born in Cambridge, New Zealand. He played his junior rugby league for the Cambridge Raiders. He is affiliated to the Ngāti Korokī Kahukura and Te pai o Raukawa iwi. Lance Hohaia
Lance Koro Hohaia (born 1 April 1983), also known by the nickname of "The Huntly Hurricane", is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer. A New Zealand international representative utility back, he played in the NRL for the New Zealand Warriors and the Super League for St Helens, with whom he won the 2014 Super League championship.
