Wahid Faghir
Wahidullah Faghir (born 29 July 2003) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a forward for club SV Elversberg, on loan from VfB Stuttgart. Early life Faghir was born in Vejle, Region Syddanmark, Denmark. His parents are both Afghans who fled to Denmark from Taliban rule. Club career Vejle Faghir started his footballing career with the Vejle BK youth academy in 2009, and signed his first official youth contract in October 2018 at age 15. Upon signing, Vejle head of youth Steen Thychosen stated that "There is a bit of 'Zlatan' brahimović, red.about him, because he performs with an indomitable self-confidence in practice and matches." Vejle () is a city in Denmark, in the southeast of the Jutland Peninsula at the head of Vejle Fjord, where the Vejle River and Grejs River and their valleys converge. Steen Thychosen (born 22 September 1958) is a former Danish footballer, who played 252 games and scored 101 goals for Vejle Boldklub. He was a forward, who also represented German club Borussia Mönchengladbach, Belgian club RWD Molenbeek and Lausanne in Switzerland. He played two games for the Denmark national football team. 2019–20 Danish 1st Division
The 2019–20 Danish 1st Division season was the 24th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. The division-champion was promoted to the 2020–21 Danish Superliga. The teams in 10th, 11th and 12th places were relegated to the 2020–21 Danish 2nd Divisions. The reason for this change in promotion and relegation spots was that the Danish Superliga was reduced to 12 teams following this season. Vejle Boldklub is a Danish professional football club based in Vejle in Jutland.
