Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, is a Character (arts), character in 20th Century Studios, 20th Century Fox's X-Men (film series), ''X-Men'' film series and later the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) media franchise produced by Marvel Studios. He is portrayed by Ryan Reynolds and is based on the Marvel Comics character Deadpool, of the same name. The initial, heavily adapted interpretation of the character first appeared in ''X-Men Origins: Wolverine'' (2009) as a Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutant mercenary and a member of Major William Stryker's black ops military Team X (comics), team. Wilson transformed by Stryker into a genetically altered mutant killer known as Weapon XI. Sabretooth (character)
Sabretooth (Victor Creed) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with the X-Men, in particular as an enemy of the mutant Wolverine. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist/co-writer John Byrne, the character made his first appearance in '' Iron Fist Issue'' #14 (August 1977). The original portrayal of Sabretooth was that of a non-powered serial killer but was later written as a mutant possessing bestial superhuman abilities, most notably a rapid healing factor, razor-sharp fangs and claws, and superhuman senses.
