History On April 7, 2011, WZOW changed its call letters to WSSM and changed its format from classic rock to oldies, branded as "The Stream". Programming on WSMM/WSSM came from Westwood One Local's Classic Hits/Pop format. WSMM/WSSM also played continuous Christmas music during the Christmas season. Nielsen Audio (formerly Arbitron) is a consumer research company in the United States that collects listener data on radio broadcasting audiences. It was founded as the American Research Bureau by Jim Seiler in 1949 and became national by merging with Los Angeles-based Coffin, Cooper, and Clay in the early 1950s. WQLQ (99.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to Benton Harbor, Michigan targeting the South Bend, Indiana market. WQLQ is owned by Mid-West Family Broadcasting. Goshen ( ) is a city in and the county seat of Elkhart County, Indiana, United States. New Carlisle is a suburban village in Olive Township, St. Joseph County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 1,861 at the 2010 Census. It is part of the South Bend–Mishawaka, IN- MI, Metropolitan Statistical Area. History New Carlisle was originally known as Bourissa Hills. This was named after Lazarus Bourissa, a Potawatamie graduate of the Carey Mission who had been granted this section of land by the treaty that moved most of the Potawatamie to the west.
