WYMM (1530 AM) is a commercial radio station in Jacksonville, Florida, broadcasting a Caribbean format. The station targets Jacksonville's Caribbean and Haitian communities. WYMM is locally owned AVM Broadcasting LLC. Its transmitter, studios and offices are on Picketville Road in the Biltmore neighborhood of Jacksonville. WYMM is a Class D daytime-only AM station. It operates with 50,000 watts, the maximum power permitted by the Federal Communications Commission. It uses a directional antenna with a two- tower array. Because 1530 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A stations WCKY Cincinnati and KFBK Sacramento, WYMM must go off the air at night to avoid interference.
