WWTD-LD, virtual channel 49 (UHF digital channel 14), is a low-powered Dabl- affiliated television station licensed to Washington, D.C., United States. The station is owned by DC Broadcasting, Inc. which itself is wholly owned by Christopher Blair of Denver, Colorado. History The station was granted its initial construction permit in 1990. At the time, it was owned by Robert E. Kelly of Annandale, Virginia, and was licensed to Annapolis, Maryland with the callsign W63BP. The station never made it to air; the permit, initially scheduled to expire in January 1991, was extended multiple times through 1995. At that point, the FCC denied a further request for extension, the permit expired, and the station was deleted from the FCC database. The construction permit was again applied for and granted in 2001, and W63BP signed on October 31. WRZB-LD, virtual channel 31 (Ultra high frequency, UHF digital terrestrial television, digital channel 32), is a low-power broadcasting#Television, low-powered television station city of license, licensed to Washington, D.C., United States. The station is owned by DC Broadcasting, Inc. (which itself is owned by Christopher Blair of Denver, Colorado), and is a sister station to WWTD-LD. History WRZB-LD and WWTD-LD both originated in construction permits applied for by Robert Kelly of Annandale, Virginia in 1989 and licensed to Annapolis, Maryland. This station was assigned the callsign W61BY. Kelly applied for extensions annually through 1995, when the fourth extension was denied and the permit was deleted. The permit was reactivated in 2001 and W61BY began airing in October of that year before being taken Dark (broadcasting), silent again in 2003. In 2005, Kelly's Annapolis Broadcasting Company sold both W61BY and W63BP (now sister station WWTD-LD) to Blair's DC Broadcasting, Inc ...
