WVEE (103.3 FM, "V-103") is a commercial radio station in Atlanta, Georgia. It is owned by Audacy, Inc. and airs an urban contemporary radio format. WVEE is one of the highest-rated stations of the Atlanta radio market according to Nielsen Audio, reaching number one on many reports. Its studios and offices are located in Colony Square on Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta, along with its sister stations WAOK, WSTR and WZGC. WVEE has an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts. It shares a tower off New Street NE, with WABE-TV, as well as with WSB-FM, which is owned by Cox Radio. The two radio stations' transmitters are diplexed together, so that they feed to the antenna instead of into each other. WAOK (1380 AM) is a commercial radio station in Atlanta, Georgia. It is owned by Audacy, Inc. and airs a talk radio format aimed at the African American community. WAOK has local hosts in morning and afternoon drive time with the syndicated Rev. Al Sharpton Show heard in early afternoons. WAOK broadcasts from studios at Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta. It is Atlanta's third-oldest continuously licensed broadcast station and the fifth oldest in Georgia. WAOK is a Class B station. It is powered at 25,000 watts during the daytime using a non-directional antenna. But to protect other stations on AM 1380 at night, when radio waves travel farther, it reduces power to 4,200 watts and uses a directional antenna. WABE-TV
WABE-TV (channel 30) is a secondary PBS member television station in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Owned by Atlanta Public Schools, it is a sister outlet to NPR member station WABE (90.1 FM) and local educational access cable service APS Cable Channel 22. The three outlets share studios on Bismark Road in the Morningside/Lenox Park section of Atlanta; WABE-TV's transmitter is located on New Street Northeast (south of DeKalb Avenue) in the city's Edgewood neighborhood.
