WSTR (band)
WSTR is an English pop punk band based in Liverpool, England. Their lineup consists of Sammy Clifford (vocals), Phil Wynne (guitar), Alex Tobijanski (bass guitar) and Sean Carson (drums). They are currently signed to Life or Death Records, after previously being signed to No Sleep Records and Hopeless Records. History Formation and ''SKRWD'' EP (2015) Formed in 2015, the band signed with No Sleep Records and released its first single, "Graveyard Shift", in March, of which the music video included cameos from members of Neck Deep. Following this, WSTR played at the Pinky Swear Records Fest in Manchester on 2 May, headlined by Man Overboard, and at Furyfest in Liverpool on 3 May, also playing at the Empire Festival in Sheffield on 17 May. WSTR played at the Jump On Demand Records Festival, also in Liverpool, later that June, the Hevy Fest in Port Lympne, Kent, and the Make A Scene Festival in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, in August. Reading And Leeds Festivals
The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events take place simultaneously on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. The Reading Festival is held at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in central Reading, near Caversham Bridge. The Leeds event is held in Bramham Park, near Wetherby, the grounds of a historic house. Headliners and most supporting acts typically play at both sites, with Reading's Friday line up becoming Leeds' Saturday line-up, Reading's Saturday line-up playing at Leeds on Sunday, and Leeds' Friday line-up attending Reading on Sunday. Seaway is a Canadian rock band from Oakville, Ontario signed to Pure Noise Records and Dine Alone Records. The band has released three EPs and four studio albums. History Formation and early releases (2011–2013) Seaway formed in 2011 in Oakville, Ontario, consisting of Ryan Locke on lead vocals, Patrick Carleton on rhythm guitar and vocals, Andrew Eichinger on lead guitar, Adam Shoji on bass, and Ken Taylor on drums. All of the members have been friends since high school. Locke, Eichinger, and Taylor began playing music together as early as grade 5, performing at talent shows and for other friends. ''Backbone'' is the debut album by British pop punk band Roam. Production Recording took place at Steel City Studio in Sheffield, Futureworks Studios in Manchester and Mill Bank Farm Studios in East Sussex. Drew Lawson produced the album. Phil Gornell engineered the proceedings with assistance from Grant Berry, Oliver Horner and Rian Dawson. Matt Wilson of Set Your Goals/Chains provides guest vocals on "Deadweight". Elliott Ingham performs additional drums. Lawson mixed the album, while Berry mastered it. Promotion On 11 October 2015, a music video for "Deadweight" was released. Slam Dunk Records or Slam Dunk Music is a British independent record label, promoter and concert organising company, founded in Leeds, England, in 2007.
