WSK (motorcycle)
WSK was a brand of motorcycles produced between 1955 and 1985 by the aerospace company PZL-Świdnik (formerly ''Wytwórnia Sprzętu Komunikacyjnego'') in their factory in Świdnik, Poland. The name and trademark were derived directly from the name of the manufacturer: ''Wytwornia Sprzetu Komunikacyjnego'' ( en, Communications Equipment Factory). History In 1955 Wytwórnia Sprzętu Komunikacyjnego was asked to produce the 125 cc WFM M06 motorcycles as WFM were unable to meet market demands. Except for the tank badge the WSK and WFM models were identical. The WSK engineers started work on an improved model. The new machine had a new engine, the S-017, a new frame made of welded from closed rectangular sections and telescopic forks. This went into production in 1959 as the M06Z and a lower specification model, the M06L was also introduced. Świdnik
Świdnik () is a town in southeastern Poland with 40,186 inhabitants (2012), situated in the Lublin Voivodeship, southeast of the city of Lublin. It is the capital of Świdnik County. Świdnik belongs to the historic province of Lesser Poland, and was first mentioned in historical records in the year 1392. It remained a village until the end of the 19th century when it began to develop as a spa, due to its location and climate. Warszawska Fabryka Motocykli ( en, Warsaw Motorcycle Factory), commonly known by its initials WFM, is a defunct Polish motorcycle manufacturer. The motorcycles were manufactured in a factory located at 25 Ulica Mińska in the Warsaw district of Grochów. History The ''Warszawskich Zakładów Naprawy Samochodów'' ( en, Warsaw Automobile Repair Plant) was established in 1947 by the amalgamation of the state-run ''Zakłady Urządzeń Transportowego No. 2'' ( en, Transport Equipment Plant No. 2) and the ''Państwowe Zakłady Samochodowych No. 2'' ( en, State Automobile Plant No. 2). Motorcycle Frame

Telescopic Fork
A telescopic fork is a form of motorcycle front suspension whose use is so common that it is virtually universal. The telescopic fork uses fork tubes and sliders which contain the springs and dampers. The main advantages of the telescopic fork are that (i) it is simple in design and relatively cheap to manufacture and assemble; (ii) it is lighter than older designs using external components and linkage systems; and (iii) it has a clean and simple appearance that bikers find attractive. Telescopic forks sometimes have gaiters to protect the fork tubes from abrasion and corrosion.
