WYFN (980 AM) is a radio station serving the Nashville, Tennessee area with a conservative religious radio format. It is a Bible Broadcasting Network (BBN) owned-and-operated station. Prior to being acquired by BBN in 1991, this station was WSIX, one of Nashville's heritage radio stations. History Early years in Springfield WSIX signed on for the first time on January 7, 1927, from Springfield. It is currently branded as 107.5 The River, broadcasting a Top 40 (CHR) format, and has become something of a heritage station for Top-40 music in middle Tennessee. Forest Hills is a city in Davidson County, Tennessee, Davidson County, Tennessee. The population was 5,038 at the 2010 census and 4,866 in a 2018 estimate. History Nashville was settled by Anglo-Europeans in 1780, and over the next two decades settlers staked claims on what was originally land cultivated and hunted by Native Americans.
