The station is currently owned by SummitMedia. The station's studios are located at Chestnut Centre in Downtown Louisville and the transmitter site is in Worthington Hills, Kentucky. WFIA is an AM radio station on 900 kHz in Louisville, Kentucky. WFIA is owned by Word Media Group through its subsidiary Word Broadcasting Network, Inc. WFIA broadcasts with a daytime power of 930 watts and a nighttime power of 162 watts and carries Christian programming. History WKYW WKYW began broadcasting on March 24, 1947, with a 25-minute preview of programs before initiating full service the next day. WDJX (99.7 MHz) is a Top 40/CHR-formatted radio station located in Louisville, Kentucky. The station has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 24 kW. The station's studios are located in downtown Louisville and the transmitter site is in New Albany, Indiana. WDJX is owned by Alpha Media. Station history WKLO-FM signed on in August 1962 as the FM sister to WKLO AM 1080. In North American broadcasting, a local marketing agreement (LMA), or local management agreement, is a contract in which one company agrees to operate a radio or television station owned by another party. In essence, it is a sort of lease or time-buy. National City Tower
PNC Tower is a skyscraper in Downtown Louisville, Kentucky, United States, and located at 101 South Fifth Street. Completed in 1972, the 40-story, high structure was designed by architects Wallace Harrison and Max Abramovitz based on the timeless designs of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. This is the only building in Louisville that Harrison & Abramovitz designed, although the firm designed more than 15 buildings in New York, including the Socony–Mobil Building and the Axa Equitable Center. The building, originally named First National Tower, was named after First National Bank and renamed National City Tower in 1994 when First National Bank was acquired by National City Bank.
