WOW Gospel 2011 is a gospel music compilation album from the award-winning WOW series. Released on February 1, 2011 (which made it the first annual ''WOW Gospel'' album in the history of the series not released in January), the double CD album features thirty contemporary gospel hits. The album cover pays tribute to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The album debuted straight at number one on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart, and peaked at number 29 on the ''Billboard'' 200 in 2011. Five songs featured on ''WOW Gospel 2011'' have reached number one on Gospel Songs chart: The Best In Me, I Believe, God In Me, He Wants It All and Nobody Greater. James Fortune is a gospel music recording artist, songwriter and producer. He is also a radio personality on 1190 AM WLIB. Music career James Fortune & FIYA's highly debut CD, ''You Survived'', was released in September 2004. He was honored at the 19th annual ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards for his hit single "You Survived" off the same album. "You Survived" also peaked as the No. 2 most played Gospel song in the country and has remained in the Top seven for three years. Andrew Aaron Mineo (born April 17, 1988), is an American Christian hip hop artist, producer, music executive, and video director based in New York City. He is signed to Reach Records and his creative initiative Miner League. In addition to his solo work, he is a member of Reach Records' hip hop collective 116 Clique. Donald Lawrence (born May 4, 1961, Gastonia, North Carolina) is an American gospel music songwriter, record producer and artist. He is best known for his Grammy Award-nominated songs "The Blessing of Abraham" and "Encourage Yourself". Forever Jones
Forever Jones (usually stylized as forever JONES) is a Christian gospel group formed by husband and wife Dewitt and Kim Jones and their five children. Band history Husband and wife Dewitt and Kim Jones grew up in Washington and came from musical backgrounds in their families. They had been writing songs since the 90s. Dewitt enjoyed some success as a songwriter when singer Ron Kenoly recorded Dewitt's song "Use Me" for the 1994 album '' God Is Able''. Kirk Dewayne Franklin (born January 26, 1970) is an American songwriter, choir director, gospel singer, and rapper. He is best known for leading urban contemporary gospel ensembles such as The Family, God's Property, and One Nation Crew (1NC) among many others.
