WOMX-FM (105.1 MHz) is a commercial radio station licensed to Orlando, Florida. The station is owned by Audacy, Inc. and airs a hot adult contemporary radio format known as ''Mix 105.1''. WOMX-FM's studios and offices are located on Pembrook Drive in Maitland and the transmitter tower is off Fort Christmas Road in Bithlo. The transmitter is shared with WRUM, WJRR and WTKS-FM. WOMX-FM operates with 100,000 watts and covers much of the Eastern region of Central Florida, from Palm Coast to the north, Lakeland to the west and Palm Bay to the south. On certain days, the signal can reach as far as Tampa Bay. History 105.1 FM first signed on the air on August 15, 1967 as WWQS. It was co-owned with WVCF (1480 AM) in Windermere. WQMP
WQMP (101.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to Daytona Beach serving the Orlando and Space Coast areas of Central Florida. Owned by Audacy, Inc., it broadcasts an alternative rock format branded as "FM 101.9". Its studios are located in Maitland and the transmitter is in Orange City. To the north, the station can be heard as far as St. Augustine, to the south, the station can be heard as far as Palm Bay and is one of the few Orlando stations that covers Ocala. History Early years The 101.9 frequency began as WMFJ-FM on November 1, 1967. Sister to AM 1450 in Daytona Beach, WMFJ-FM was an automated beautiful music station known as ''Stereo 102''. Channel Q (stylized as CHANNEL Q) is an LGBT lifestyle talk and EDM top 40 radio network created, owned, and operated by Audacy, Inc. The network airs on the Audacy internet radio service, as well as on Audacy-owned terrestrial radio stations throughout the United States.
