WNBA On ESPN
The ''WNBA on ESPN'' refers to the presentation of Women's National Basketball Association games on the ESPN family of networks. Under the title of ''WNBA Tuesday'', games are broadcast throughout the WNBA season on Tuesday nights on ESPN2. Background In June 2003, the WNBA signed a new six-year agreement with ABC Sports and ESPN to televise regular-season games and playoff games from 2003 through 2008. It was also announced that ESPN2 would televise a half-hour pre-game show before each broadcast. In June 2007, the WNBA signed another contract extension with ESPN. The new television deal ran from 2009 to 2016. A minimum of 18 games would be broadcast on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2 each season. Additionally, a minimum of 11 postseason games would be broadcast on any of the three stations. Ryan P. Ruocco (; born November 18, 1986) is an American television and radio sportscaster. He serves as a play-by-play announcer for the NBA and WNBA on ESPN, the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets on YES Network, and boxing for DAZN. Mark Vernon Jones is a Canadian sportscaster for ABC and ESPN and the primary play-by-play announcer for Sacramento Kings games on NBC Sports California. Jones has been a member of the ESPN broadcasting family since 1990. Before then Jones worked for The Sports Network (TSN) in Canada. He mostly works college football and NBA games on ABC and ESPN. LaChina Robinson is a basketball analyst who calls college basketball games for ESPN, Fox Sports 1, and FS South. Stephanie Ready (born 1975) is an American broadcaster for NBA on TNT and was formerly a broadcaster for the National Basketball Association's (NBA) Charlotte Hornets.
