WMEI, virtual and UHF digital channel 14, branded on-air as WMEI 14 and TeleMar, was a Retro TV/ Action Channel- affiliated television station licensed to Arecibo, Puerto Rico. WOST (channel 14) is a ShopHQ- affiliated television station licensed to Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. The station is owned by HC2 Holdings. WOST maintains its studios in Puerta del Condado in San Juan, with additional studios in Yauco. The transmitter is situated in Monte del Estado in Maricao. The station's signal is relayed throughout Puerto Rico through satellite stations: WWKQ-LD (digital channel 34, virtual channel 14) in Quebradillas, WQQZ-CD (digital channel 24, virtual channel 14) in Ponce and W27DZ-D (digital channel 27, virtual channel 14) in Mayaguez. Until August 31, 2017, the station was a satellite of the now-defunct WMEI in Arecibo. Mega TV is an American free-to-air television network based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, owned by Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS). The network's flagship is WSBS-TV, a television station licensed to Key West, Florida, with studios also in Miami. History Mega TV was launched on March 1, 2006. Its original slate of programming includes productions aimed to young Hispanic viewers. Mega TV seems to be following the same pattern traced by larger rivals such as the Hispanic Telemundo, Univision and Azteca nearly 25 years ago – creating its own television personalities. Max Media is a company that owns radio stations throughout the United States. It is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. History Max Media was founded in 2001. The Family Channel is an American general entertainment television network owned by Get After It Media (formerly Luken Communications and Reach High Media Group), and based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
