WKTZ (1220 AM) is an American radio station licensed to serve Jacksonville, Florida, United States. Established in 1958, the station is currently owned and operated by the American Family Association, and is that organization's only station on the AM band. The station was assigned the call sign "WJAX" by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on May 26, 1987 and then assigned the callsign WKTZ on November 5, 2014. Programming Until November 2014, WJAX featured the syndicated America's Best Music format of adult standards and adult contemporary oldies music distributed by Westwood One, and streams online. WJAX-TV (channel 47) is a television station in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, affiliated with CBS. It is owned by Hoffman Communications, which maintains a joint sales agreement (JSA) with Cox Media Group, owner of Fox/Telemundo affiliate WFOX-TV (channel 30), for the provision of certain services. WFXJ (930 kHz "Acción 97.3") is a commercial AM radio station in Jacksonville, Florida. It airs a Spanish news/talk radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. WFXJ is also streamed on accionjacksonville.iheart.com and on the iHeartRadio app. The station's studios and offices are located on Central Parkway in Jacksonville's Southside neighborhood.
