WIS 57
Wisconsin Highway 57 (often called Highway 57, STH-57 or WIS 57) is a state highway in Wisconsin, United States. It runs from its southern terminus at Wisconsin Highway 59 in Milwaukee to its northern terminus at Wisconsin Highway 42 in Sister Bay. Much of WIS 57 parallels Interstate 43 (I-43) and WIS 42, particularly from Saukville to its northern terminus in Sister Bay. The highway is concurrent with I-43 for in Ozaukee County. Like most Wisconsin state highways, WIS 57 is maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). WIS 57 serves as a major highway in eastern Wisconsin, and it was originally designed to connect the major cities of Milwaukee and Green Bay as well as several other large cities along its corridor. Door County, Wisconsin
Door County is the easternmost county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 30,066. Its county seat is Sturgeon Bay. It is named after the strait between the Door Peninsula and Washington Island. Sister Bay is a village in Door County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 876 at the 2010 census. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of , of which is land and is water. State Trunk Highway 100 (STH-100, commonly known as Highway 100 or WIS 100) is a road which encircles the outer edges of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. Route description The road is designed as a bypass around the city of Milwaukee, but with residential and commercial development along WIS 100 on almost all portions of the road, this purpose has been negated, and it serves as one of the Milwaukee area's major commercial corridors. Brown Deer is a village in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. As a suburb of Milwaukee, it is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The population was 12,507 at the 2020 census. History The Brown Deer area was organized as part of the Town of Milwaukee in 1835, and the first white settlers began arriving around that time from New England and New York, including some settlers from Granville, New York. WIS 190
State Trunk Highway 190 (often called Highway 190, STH-190 or WIS 190) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It runs east–west in southeast Wisconsin from Pewaukee to Shorewood. Route description In Milwaukee, WIS 190 is known as Capitol Drive, one of the main streets of the city's north side. The road's name comes from older mapping methods that discerned the road would lead directly toward the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison if built in a straight east-west line from Lake Michigan, though current day mapping actually places it two miles north of downtown Madison and the Capitol's center point. State Trunk Highway 145 (STH-145, commonly known as Highway 145 or WIS 145) is a state highway in Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Washington counties in Wisconsin, United States, that connects the northwest suburbs of Milwaukee with the city's downtown. For much of its route, the highway is known as Fond du Lac Avenue. Route description Up until the fall of 2009, Highway 145's northern terminus was at the freeway interchange with US-41 in Richfield. Interstate 94 (I-94) runs east–west through the western, central, and southeastern portions of the US state of Wisconsin. A total of of I-94 lie in the state. Route description The route, cosigned with US Highway 12 (US 12), enters from Minnesota just east of the Twin Cities. Interstate 43 (I-43) is a Interstate Highway located entirely within the US state of Wisconsin, connecting I-39/ I-90 in Beloit with Milwaukee and I-41, U.S. Highway 41 (US 41) and US 141 in Green Bay. State Trunk Highway 32 (WIS 32) runs concurrently with I-43 in two sections and I-94, I-894, US 10, US 41, US 45, and WIS 57 overlap I-43 once each.
