Clinton is a city in Laurens County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 8,490 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Greenville– Mauldin– Easley Metropolitan Statistical Area. Clinton is the home of Presbyterian College. History The Cherokee Indians were Clinton's original inhabitants. The first settler to inhabit the area was John Duncan, a native of Aberdeen, Scotland, who arrived in 1752 from Pennsylvania and settled along a creek between the present-day towns of Clinton and Whitmire. WRFJ is a non-commercial radio station located in Fort Mill, South Carolina, United States, that broadcasts on a frequency of 91.5 MHz. It is owned by the Radio Training Network. Since August 2014, the station has been a repeater for RTN's contemporary worship music, Christian Contemporary Praise & Worship format, His Radio Praise. The station broadcasts at only 140 watts from a tiny (by modern broadcasting standards) tower west of downtown Fort Mill. The modest power and short tower are mainly due to being short-spaced to WSGE in Dallas, North Carolina at nearby 91.5 FM. It can only be heard clearly in Fort Mill itself.
