WHDT-LD (channel 3) is a low-power television station in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It transmits from atop the Prudential Tower. The station is one of three stations operated by WHDT World Television Service (DE), a business unit of Marksteiner AG. The station carries programming from New Tang Dynasty Television. On January 6, 2004, the station (then known as WHDN-LP) was granted a license to convert to digital operations, making it one of the first digital low-power stations in the United States; others include Günter Marksteiner's WHDT-CD in Miami, Florida (sold to LocusPoint Networks), and WTHC-LD in Atlanta, Georgia. It carried the programming of Stuart, Florida–based WHDT until that station was sold to Scripps Networks Katz Broadcasting, LLC, doing business as Scripps Networks, is an American specialized digital multicasting network media company and a subsidiary of E. WHDT
WHDT (channel 9), branded on-air as Florida 24 Network or FL24, is a news-formatted independent television station licensed to Stuart, Florida, United States, serving the West Palm Beach area. It is owned by the E. W. Scripps Company alongside NBC affiliate WPTV-TV (channel 5); Scripps also provides certain services to Fox affiliate WFLX (channel 29) under a shared services agreement (SSA) with Gray Television. The stations share studios on South Australian Avenue in downtown West Palm Beach ( mailing address says Banyan Boulevard, also known as 1st Street), while WHDT's transmitter is located near Wellington west of US 441/ SR 7. However, master control and some internal operations are based at the studios of sister ABC affiliate WRTV.
