WFDM (1400 AM, "Radio Latina 94.3") is an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, United States, on the frequency of 1400 kHz and the translator W232CF. It first began broadcasting in 1956 under the call sign "WNUE". The station licensee and operator is Omni Broadcasting. WFDM formerly broadcast a news/talk format as "Freedom 94.3". It's now a Spanish station known on air as Radio Latina 94.3 FM. (Taken from their new web site) WFDM is currently off the air, their tower and transmitter building have been razed and the studio building (control point) has been vacated as of 3/20/2021. While they are still listed a licensed radio station on 1400 kHz. on the FCC AM station query, their listing on the website Radio Locator (www.radio-locator.com) has been removed.
