WFC Tornado Kyiv was one of a better Soviet and Ukrainian women's football club from Kyiv. The club was liquidated in 1993. History Founded in 1988 as Nyva Baryshivka and competed in several Soviet competitions including the Soviet Top League in 1990 and 1991. The club won the league in 1990 by beating the Russian Tekstilschik Ramenskoye in the final. Next season the club relocated across Kyiv Oblast to Kyiv, but managed only to place 8th in its group (out of two).Soviet Union 1991 Women

The Ukrainian Women’s Cup Competition ( uk, Кубок України серед жіночих команд) is a knockout cup competition for women's football clubs in Ukraine, run by the Football Federation of Ukraine. Format The format of this competition fluctuates annually. Mainly the competition is limited to the professional level clubs. History The first cup competition was held in 1992. The winner where Dynamo Kyiv who also won the national league that year. Starting from 1996 and until 2011 the cup consisted of only few matches due to lack of participants. In 2000 the competition was scratched completely. Number of participants Cup finals The following is a list of all cup finals. The finals are played in a single leg.
