WCPW Ladies Championship
The WCPW Ladies Championship (also called the WCPW Women's Championship) was a women's professional wrestling championship in Windy City Pro Wrestling (WCPW). Originally, WCPW was known as Windy City Wrestling (WCW), however, a lawsuit brought by World Championship Wrestling forced the smaller promotion to change its name to "Windy City Pro Wrestling" in 1997. The championship remained active until December 2010, when WCPW merged with the Chicago Pro Wrestling Academy to form Dynasty Sports Entertainment. The women's title has the distinction for being the "most controversial" championship in the promotion with three former champions being stripped of the title while a fourth, Dymond, abandoned the title to join a rival promotion. Windy City Pro Wrestling
Windy City Pro Wrestling is an American regional professional wrestling promotion originally based in Chicago, Illinois. Established as Windy City Wrestling by retired wrestler Sam DeCero in 1988, the promotion was one of several major regional territories in the Midwest, along with Dick the Bruiser's World Wrestling Association, during the late 1980s and among the oldest independent organizations in the United States until its last promoted show in December 2010. In November 2015, the expired WCPW trademark was re-registered by former Windy City Pro Wrestling wrestler James K. Duck. Sue Green
Susan Tex Green (born August 13, 1953) is an American professional wrestler. She began wrestling at the age of 15 and was trained by The Fabulous Moolah. She was the frequent tag team partner of Sandy Parker, with whom she won the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA)'s NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship. The title reign, however, is unrecognized. In 1976, Green was recognized by ''Pro Wrestling Illustrated'' as the Girl Wrestler of the Year. Nickla Ann Roberts-Byrd (born February 13, 1962) is an American semi-retired professional wrestling, professional wrestler and Manager (professional wrestling), valet, better known by her ring name, "The Perfect 10" Baby Doll. She is best known for her time with Ohio Valley Wrestling under the ring name Sosay (pronounced So-Say). Tinley Park (formerly Bremen) is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States, with a small portion in Will County. The village is a suburb of Chicago. Per the 2020 census, the population was 55,971. It is one of the fastest growing suburbs southwest of Chicago.
