David Clay Goodnow (born October 20, 1939, in Vincennes, Indiana), is an American journalist known for his work as an anchor on ''CNN Headline News''. Biography He is a 1957 graduate of Lincoln High School (Vincennes), Vincennes Lincoln High School, and a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He got his start in broadcasting on the AM side of WAKO-FM in September 1959 and in 1961, he moved to WAOV, a radio station in Vincennes, Indiana. He then moved to the television side of the business first taking a job at WTVW in Evansville, Indiana and later WTHI-TV in Terre Haute, Indiana. Lawrenceville is a city in and the county seat of Lawrence County, Illinois, United States, located along the Embarras River. The population was 4,348 at the 2010 census. Westwood One is an American radio network owned by Cumulus Media. The company syndicates talk, music, and sports programming. The company takes its name from an earlier network also named Westwood One, a company founded in 1978. The company was, at various times, managed by CBS Radio, the radio arm of CBS Corporation and Viacom. It was later purchased by the private equity firm The Gores Group before merging with Dial Global in 2011. In December 2013, Dial Global was, in turn, acquired by Cumulus Media.
