Craig Wuest
Craig Wuest is an American keyboardist currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, Atlanta, Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia. He is best known as the founder and leader of the electronic music group Earthstar (band), Earthstar during the 1970s and 1980s. Earthstar was the only American band who participated in Germany's Kosmische Musik/electronic music scene while still at its height. Early career Wuest is originally from Utica, New York, Utica, New York State, New York. According to former Earthstar guitarist Dennis Rea in the early 1970s Wuest was among the first musicians in Utica who owned a synthesizer. Georg Wüst
Georg Adolf Otto Wüst (born 15 June 1890 in Posen, Germany (now Poznan, Poland); died 8 November 1977 in Erlangen, Germany) was a German oceanographer. His pioneering work on the Atlantic Ocean provided a new view of the motions of water masses between the northern and southern hemispheres and the first evidence of the concentration of water mass spreading in western boundary currents. Life Wüst was the son of the Prussian civil servant Max Wüst and his wife Clara. The family soon moved to Berlin, Germany. He attended the Charlottenburg high school in Berlin. Hendrik Wüst
Hendrik Josef Wüst (born 19 July 1975) is a German politician currently serving as Minister-President of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. He is a member of the Christian democratic and liberal-conservative CDU. In October 2021 he succeeded Armin Laschet as state chairman of his party. Under Wüst's leadership, his party won the highest vote share in the 2022 North Rhine-Westphalia state election. Irene Karlijn (Ireen) Wüst (; born 1 April 1986) is a Dutch former long track speed skater. Wüst became the most successful speed skating olympian ever by achieving at least one gold medal in each of five consecutive Winter Olympic appearances and is the only athlete to win an individual gold medal in five consecutive Olympics, Summer or Winter. Wüst is both the youngest Dutch Olympic gold medalist and the oldest speed skating gold medalist in the history of the Winter Games. Josef Wüst
Josef Wüst (March 11, 1925 – February 19, 2003) was an Austrian journalist, editor-in-chief and publisher. Early life and education Josef Wüst was born in Velika Greda, Podunavlje Oblast, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, the third child of the Wüst family, and spent his early life together with his siblings Franz and Elisabeth on their parents' farm. He was in secondary school in the nearby town of Vršac during World War II when the Balkan Campaign began in 1941 in the then Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and the language of education changed from Serbian to German. In fall 1944 Germans had to flee from the Banat; Josef's father was killed and the family were dispossessed of all their belongings. His brother joined combat units, while his mother and sister were interned in Serbian camps. Kenneth Wuest
Kenneth Samuel Wuest (1893 – December 27, 1961) was an Evangelical Biblical Greek New Testament scholar of the mid-twentieth century. Early life and education Wuest was born in 1893 on the north side of Chicago, where he lived for most of his life. He earned his A.B. in History and Greek from Northwestern University (1922), graduated from Moody Bible Institute (1924), and was awarded an honorary D.D. from Wheaton College (1955). He married his Moody Bible Institute classmate Jeannette Irene Scholl in 1924. Career Wuest taught for one year starting in 1924 at the Freewill Baptist Seminary in Ayden, North Carolina, then for several years starting in 1925 at the Brookes Bible Institute in St. Louis, Missouri, before joining the faculty of Moody Bible Institute in 1929, where he served as professor of New Testament Greek. Marcel Wüst
Marcel Wüst (born 6 August 1967) is a German former road bicycle racer. He won stages in all of the three Grand Tours; twelve stages in the Vuelta a España, one stage in the Tour de France and a stage in the Giro d'Italia. In 2000, a crash left him without sight in one eye and prematurely ended his professional career. In 2002 and 2003, Wüst worked as a team manager for Team Coast.
