Wyatt Glacier () is a steep, narrow glacier 6 nautical miles (11 km) long in southern Graham Land. It flows south from the central plateau near Beehive Hill to join the upper part of Gibbs Glacier. Wyatt Hill () is a small ice-covered hill rising to about 500 m at the west side of Hamilton Ice Piedmont, Bear Peninsula, on the Walgreen Coast, Marie Byrd Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from U.S. Navy aerial photographs taken in 1966. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after Joseph T. Wyatt Island () is an island, 5 nautical miles (9 km) long and 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) wide, lying 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) south of Day Island near the center of Laubeuf Fjord, off the west coast of Graham Land. First surveyed in 1936 by the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE) under Rymill which used the provisional name South Island for this feature. The island was resurveyed in 1948 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) and was renamed by Vice Admiral Sir Arthur G.N. Wyatt, Hydrographer to the Navy, 1945–50. Wyatt is an unincorporated community located in Madison Township, St. Joseph County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The community is part of the South Bend–Mishawaka, IN- MI, Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Wyatt was platted in 1894 when the railroad was extended to that point. Wyatt, Missouri
Wyatt is a city in Mississippi County, Missouri, United States. The population was 219 at the 2020 census. It is the easternmost city west of the Mississippi River. History Wyatt was originally called Pevey Switch, and under the latter name got its start in 1881 when the railroad was extended to that point. A post office called Wyatt has been in operation since 1895. The present name is after William Wyatt, an early settler. The Cotton Belt 5.3-mile rail line, between Bird's Point and Wyatt, was abandoned by ICC order on October 9, 1938. In late 1941, an oil pipeline was laid on the old Cotton Belt right-of-way, between Wyatt and Bird's Point, to facilitate the transportation of crude oil by barge. Cotton Belt handled railroad tank cars from Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas to Wyatt for shipment by pipeline of the oil to Bird's Point and trans loading onto barges.
