Wulu Railway Station
Wulu railway station () is a railway station in Haidian District, Beijing, China. It is the east terminus of Jingmen Railway since 1971, when the line was abandoned between Wulu and Beijing North railway station Beijingbei (Beijing North) railway station (), formerly known as Xizhimen railway station (), is a railway station in Beijing. It was built in 1905 as one of the original stations on the Jingzhang railway (part of the old Beijing–Baotou railw .... The station is about from Muchengjian railway station, which is the west terminus of Jingmen Railway. The Station is currently for freight traffic only, and only sees light traffic since early 2000s. The station has a branch line which connects Xijiao Airport, which supposedly provides fuel supply for the airport. As a result, one may see tank cars in the station, although only on rare occasions. Haidian District () is a district of the municipality of Beijing. It is mostly situated in northwestern Beijing, but also to a lesser extent in the west, where it has borders with Xicheng District and Fengtai District. Beijing North Railway Station
Beijingbei (Beijing North) railway station (), formerly known as Xizhimen railway station (), is a railway station in Beijing. It was built in 1905 as one of the original stations on the Jingzhang railway (part of the old Beijing–Baotou railway). On October 31, 2016, the station closed for renovation. On December 30, 2019, the station becomes the terminus of the high-speed Beijing–Zhangjiakou intercity railway, which is a section of Beijing-Baotou passenger-dedicated line. Renovation The station was closed from November 1, 2016 to December 30, 2019. After the renovation began, the Line S2 terminus changed to Huangtudian railway station and all other China Railway train's terminus changed to Changping North railway station. Jingmen Railway
Jingmen () is a prefecture-level city in central Hubei province, People's Republic of China. Jingmen is within an area where cotton and oil crops are planted. The population of the prefecture is 2,873,687 (2010 population census). The urban area of Jingmen City has a population of about 400,000. Beijing Xijiao Airport
Beijing Xijiao Airport is a military airport in Beijing, China. It was also used by charter flights. It is located in Haidian District, from Beijing Capital International Airport and about from the city centre. It has one runway numbered 18/36. History Xijiao Airport was built in 1938 by the Imperial Japanese Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War, and its ownership was transferred to the Nationalist government after the surrender of Japan in 1945. Since January 1949, North China Aviation Bureau of the People's Liberation Army officially took over the management of Xijiao Airport, and formed the North China Air Transportation Brigade, which mainly consists of former Republic of China Air Force pilots. On the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, all aircraft that flew over Tiananmen took off from Xijiao Airport, and continued on to land at Beijing Nanyuan Airport. Line 6 (Beijing Subway)
Line 6 of the Beijing Subway () is a rapid transit rail line in Beijing. The line runs from Jin'anqiao in Shijingshan District to Lucheng in Tongzhou District. It serves important residential areas such as Changying, Chaoqing, and Dingfuzhuang, in addition to important commercial and business areas such as Financial Street, Beijing CBD and the sub-administrative center in Tongzhou District. Like Line 7, Line 6 provides relief to the parallel Line 1, which is the second most used subway line in Beijing, after Line 10. Line 6 is the second longest subway line in Beijing (only Line 10 is longer). A complete journey from end to end takes about an hour and 25 minutes on a local train and express trains reducing end to end travel time by 7 minutes. 4th Ring Road (Beijing)
The 4th Ring Road () is a controlled-access expressway ring road in Beijing, China which runs around the city, with a radius of approximately from city centre. The total length of the road is . There are 147 bridges and viaducts that run the length of the Ring Road. The first section, the northern corridor, was completed in preparation for the 1990 Asian Games.
