Wu Kai Sha Station
Wu Kai Sha is the northeastern terminal station on the of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. It is located between Sai Sha Road and Sha On Street in , also identified with Wu Kai Sha to its west, serving the housing estates and schools nearby. It was originally named "Lee On station" when the Ma On Shan line was under construction, for its proximity to the Lee On Estate on its southwest. History On 21 December 2004, Wu Kai Sha station opened to the public with other KCR Ma On Shan Rail stations. On 14 February 2020, the Ma On Shan line was extended south to the newly opened , as part of the first phase of the Shatin to Central Link project. Lake Silver
Lake Silver (), formerly known as Lake W () is a private housing estate developed by MTR Corporation and Sino Land. It is located in Ma On Shan, Hong Kong between Wu Kai Sha station and Monte Vista, another housing development. The whole project covers an area of , and was completed in 2009. Lake Silver comprises a shopping centre with flats above. Its advertising featured the song "Con Te Partirò" by Italian singer Andrea Bocelli. Sha Tin To Central Link
The Sha Tin to Central Link (abbreviated SCL; ) is an extension of the MTR rapid transit network. It is divided into two sections. The first section, named "Tuen Ma line (Phase 1)”, runs from Tai Wai station in the New Territories to Hung Hom station in Kowloon. The Tai Wai–Hung Hom segment connected the Ma On Shan line and West Rail line, forming the new Tuen Ma line. Operation of the Tai Wai to Kai Tak section began on 14 February 2020. The opening of the section from Kai Tak to Hung Hom was delayed and opened on 27 June 2021. In anticipation of the Tuen Ma line, the existing Kwun Tong line was extended from its previous terminus at Yau Ma Tei station, Yau Ma Tei to Whampoa station. Tuen Ma Line
The Tuen Ma line () is a rapid transit line that forms part of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. Coloured brown on the map, the Tuen Ma line is in length, making it the longest line of the MTR network. It has a total of 27 stations, more than any other in the MTR system. The Tuen Ma line is a merger of the two former MTR lines, the West Rail line and the Ma On Shan line, via a new stretch of mostly-underground railway known as the "Tai Wai to Hung Hom section" () of the Sha Tin to Central Link project, consisting of of track and six new intermediate stations.
