Wrestling At The 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's Freestyle 120 Kg
Men's freestyle 120 kilograms competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, was held on 21 August at the China Agricultural University Gymnasium. This freestyle wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals. Each wrestler who loses to one of the two finalists moves into the repechage, culminating in a pair of bronze medal matches featuring the semifinal losers each facing the remaining repechage opponent from their half of the bracket. Each bout consists of up to three rounds, lasting two minutes apiece. The wrestler who scores more points in each round is the winner of that round; the bout ends when one wrestler has won two rounds (and thus the match). It covers an area of 23,950 square metres and has a capacity of 8,200 which was reduced to 6,000 after the events. It was also turned into a sports complex for students of the China Agricultural University after the Olympic Games. Construction started the first half of 2005 and was completed in July 2007. Wilson Siewari (born 16 July 1973) is an amateur Nigerian freestyle wrestler, who played for the men's super heavyweight category.
