Worth The Wait (EP)
''Worth the Wait'' is the debut extended play by Canadian country artist Lindsay Ell. It was released on March 24, 2017 through Stoney Creek Records. The collection was recorded in eight months between 2016 and 2017 following a string of one-off singles. Kristian Bush of Sugarland produced the EP. ''Worth the Wait'' includes a cover of John Mayer's "Stop This Train". Background Ell independently released an album titled ''Consider This'' through Maple Worldwide in December 2008. After moving to Nashville, Tennessee, she signed with record label Stoney Creek Records (a sister label to Broken Bow Records) in 2013. Five one-off singles were released between 2013 and 2016, with three charting on the American Country Airplay chart and the latest, "All Alright" (2016), reaching the top 10 on the Canada Country chart. Lindsay Elizabeth Ell (born 20 March 1989) is a Canadian-American country pop singer, songwriter, guitarist and television personality from Calgary, Alberta. Her music incorporates elements of rock and blues. She was signed to the US record label Stoney Creek Records, an imprint of Broken Bow Records. Her debut extended play, '' Worth the Wait'', was released in March 2017. The 50-position chart lists the most popular country music albums in the country, calculated weekly by Broadcast Data Systems based on physical sales along with digital sales and streaming. In popular music, a cover version, cover song, remake, revival, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording by a musician other than the original performer or composer of the song. Originally, it referred to a version of a song released around the same time as the original in order to compete with it. Now, it refers to any subsequent version performed after the original.
