World Version W5
World version W5 (''W5 professional kickboxing'') is a sports promotion of Russian origin with headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia, and Moscow, Russia. They also have representatives in Prague (Czech Republic), Almere (Netherlands), Serbia and Croatia. W5 holds professional kickboxing events across Russia and Europe with future events planned for North and South America. W5 was established in 2007, when Sergey Chepinoga organized the very first event in Budva, Montenegro at a football stadium. The event was a success and thus began W5 in the world of kickboxing. To date W5 has promoted more than 40 kickboxing events in locations like Prague (the Czech Republic), Vienna (Austria), Bratislava, Prievidza, Zvolen (Slovakia), Zagreb and Dubrovnik (Croatia), Ingolstadt (Germany), Budva (Montenegro), Minsk (Belarus), Moscow, Ryazan, Oryol, Kalyazin and other Russian cities. Kickboxing is a combat sports, combat sport focused on kicking and punch (strike), punching. The combat takes place in a boxing ring, normally with boxing gloves, mouthguards, shorts, and bare feet to favour the use of kicks. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general physical fitness, fitness, or for competition. Warren "Chaka Zulu" Stevelmans (born 16 May 1983) is a South African kickboxer, fighting out of Vos Gym in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is the K-1 MAX Netherlands 2008 tournament champion. Biography and career Despite being born in South Africa, Stevelmans has spent the bulk of his career fighting in the Netherlands. He began his career at C-Class level in 2001 and through 2001 to 2005 won a number of C and B-Class fights, culminating in winning his A-Class debut against Arian Vatniki in Maastricht, Netherlands. Massaro Glunder-Timisela is a Netherlands, Dutch-Moluccan professional kickboxer. He is a former World version W5, W5 72.5 kg Intercontinental champion. Glunder was ranked in the Featherweight top ten by Combat Press from October 2015 until May 2016. Vlad Tuinov (born February 10, 1998 in Orel, Russia) is a professional Russian kickboxer who competes in the lightweight division. Early life Tuinov was born in Orel, Russia to Russian parents. He got involved with kickboxing by accident. Kalyazin (russian: Каля́зин) is a town and the administrative center of Kalyazinsky District in Tver Oblast, Russia, located on the right bank of the Volga River, northeast of Tver, the administrative center of the oblast.
