World Of Miracles
''World of Miracles'' ( it, Il mondo dei miracoli) is a 1959 Italian melodrama film directed by Luigi Capuano. Plot Laura and Marco are two young lovers who act for a theater company. But one day Marco, having come into conflict with her father, who is an old actor, leaves the company to seek greater fortune in Rome, in the world of cinema. Laura, after some time, is moved by a letter full of affection that Marco sent her, so she joins him in Rome, where he has rented a room from Franca, a good woman who tries to advise him well and who feels happy to welcome Laura in their own home. But the couple is put in crisis by the presence - unexpected for Laura - of another woman, a snobbish actress who seeks Marco's company and often calls him to invite him to her hotel room. Laura, saddened, then returns to her father, who, due to too many emotions, dies during a performance on the stage of the theater. Silvio Bagolini (4 August 1914 – 26 September 1976) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1936 and 1973. Life and career Born in Bologna, Bagolini studied architecture at the Bologna University, without graduating. He made his acting debut with a leading role in a 1934 experimental amateur film, ''Verde nei prati''. Moved to Rome, he enrolled at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Luigi Visconti, better known by his stage name Fanfulla, (26 February 1913 – 5 January 1971) was an Italian actor and comedian. Life and career Born in Rome, Visconti debuted at very young age on stage alongside his mother, the actress Mercedes Menolesi (best known as "Diavolina"). From the mid-forties to the late fifties, he adopted the stage name Fanfulla and was a popular comedian of cabaret and avanspettacolo shows, acclaimed for his brilliant style, referred to as "The King of Avanspettacolo" and even paired with Ettore Petrolini. His career was relaunched by Federico Fellini, who chose him for the role of Vernacchio in ''Fellini Satyricon'', a role that gave Fanfulla a Nastro d'Argento for best supporting actor.
