World Association Of International Studies
The World Association of International Studies (WAIS) was founded by Ronald Hilton in 1965 as the California Institute of International Studies at Stanford University's Bolivar House. WAIS membership is by invitation only. The stated goal of WAIS is "finding ''Peace, Light and Truth (Pax, Lux et Veritas)'' through informed, balanced, and spirited cross-disciplinary discussions". WAIS has conducted many conferences since its inception. Publications From 1965 to 1970, the ''Hispanic American Report'' was the publication of the California Institute of International Studies. In 1970, it was succeeded by the ''World Affairs Report''. WAIS discontinued the publication of the printed version of the ''World Affairs Report'' in 1990. The online version continued on the WAIS home page. ''World Affairs Report'' is updated daily. Ronald Hilton
Ronald Hilton (July 31, 1911, Torquay, England – February 20, 2007, Palo Alto, California) was a British-American academic, reporter and think-tank specialist, specializing in Latin America and, in particular, Fidel Castro's Cuba. Ronald Hilton was educated at Oxford University and at the University of California at Berkeley and became a US citizen in 1946. He launched the Hispanic American Report in 1948. Adrian College
Adrian College is a private liberal arts college in Adrian, Michigan. The college offers bachelor's degrees in 92 academic majors and programs. The 100 acre (0.40 km2) campus contains newly constructed facilities along with historic buildings.
