ZIP Code Tabulation Area
ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs) are statistical entities developed by the United States Census Bureau for tabulating summary statistics. These were introduced with the Census 2000 and continued with the 2010 Census and 5 year American Community Survey data sets. This new entity was developed to overcome the difficulties in precisely defining the land area covered by each ZIP code. Defining the extent of an area is necessary in order to tabulate census data for that area. William Poole Bancroft
William Poole Bancroft (July 12, 1835 – April 20, 1928) was an American industrialist who later became an important figure in the land conservation movement. His belief that the beauty of the Brandywine region should be protected against urban sprawl for future generations led to him purchasing large amounts of land which eventually became state and federally owned park land. Early life and career William Poole Bancroft was born on July 12, 1835, in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. William Young House
William Young House is a historic home located near Rockland, New Castle County, Delaware. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is just uphill from the Rockland Historic District, on Black Gates Road across from the DuPont Country Club in Woodbrook Standing alone facing west toward Rockland proper, and surrounded on three sides by a raised terrace with a stone wall, the William Young House is an imposing structure with a high degree of architectural integrity. It was built in 1802, and is a two-story, five-bay, stone dwelling with a hipped roof and in the Georgian style. The main block measures by , with a kitchen ell measuring by .
